As Catra said, you can't expect to go back to before. Even if you get a remission there will likely be things that never go back to normal. But WC has to look at what your limitations are right now. If you have to keep your foot up for xyz hours per day, they need to have that in their report. If you can only shower 2x per week (me too!) they need to have that in their report. What is the maximum amount of time you can sit in a chair? (i.e. doing sedentary work. Do you need to nap during the day? How long?

You need to get all of this documented.

It may take time to get your lawyer familiar with your case. OR you need to find a different lawyer. Only you can make that decision.

Also you are entitled to a second opinion medically. If you are going to the first place WC sent you, you may want to change doctors. That's how I was able to find doctors that were on MY side and not on WC side.
