I have had rsd for six and a half years now and just found out I have cataracts in both my eyes. I am in my early fifties and feel that the rsd has caused this premature aging of my eyes. My biggest fear with rsd is that it would affect my vision. My dr said the cataracts are in the early stages and that I shouldn't need surgery on them until later in life. But we all know with rsd that our health tends to deteriorate quicker. I am afraid this will be true with my eyes as well but pray that it won't. All I can do is pray that I won't lose my vision.
Has anyone else had problems with their vision since being diagnosed with rsd? I was just wondering. I also suffer from extreme dry eyes now and blurry vision. I haven't been here for a while because of my rsd causing me more pain making me almost completely bedridden. And then there's my brother who I fear has relapsed from his addition. A very tough year for me. But I keep trying to hold on to Faith that things will turn out okay for us all. One day at a time.
