Default ARE YOU GETTING THE BEST OF cARE

In my travels with PD for the last seven years one thing I found most disturbing is a well planned care system.
My appointments usually are hurried. The last one I didnt even get time to complete my questionnaire.Rush rush rush haven't been in over 6 months .
I ended up going backwards in my meds which did not work.
Ive been told you must bring a strong advocate or be prepared for a quick appointment.Ive taken my wife to a few but it really didnt matter in a quality appoinment.
Doctors of course are taught to get us out as soon as possable, economics sic.
Well I look at it like fliping a coin.Heads Im doing ok thanks to self managment.Tails Ive seen first hand when patients dont speak up and take charge in their own care and price they pay in losing their independence.
Another point is the shear lack of quality PD doctors today. Many of these doctors are concetrated in research centers and see few patients while other areas go begging.
I think more should be done to improve our care
What do you think we need?
