It's good to have a supporting spouse present, it is also someone who can be a witness, and remember what you may not. I have my phone set on "Record', through an App I have and record every visit. The screen is off, and not one doctor has noticed it. This is so I can make sure I have the facts straight. I have found that I have in fact remembered some things wrong.
