maybe when richard comes back you can ask him to assist you out side, only if you are willing to try to do that, of course.
Everything there should be handicap accessible. He could also work with you on using the walker with a curb if you have to navigate that, but you should not if you use the walk lights.
Perhaps I am being premature. 
Are you off balance? Is that why you are falling?
