Default Intro -

Good morning,

I have been diagnosed with PCS.

Currently I'm seeing a concussion specialist MD, a neurologist, physical therapy 2 hours twice weekly; vestibular therapy twice weekly; speech/language therapy twice weekly. (also seeing an orthopedic doctor but I think P/T is taking care of the knee and hip so hopefully no surgery needed)

I've had a headache ever since the car wreck - several months. I have a steady pain that never goes away - though since I've started the various therapies the steady pain does lessen in intensity - where it used to never go below a 5, now I've been down to a 3 a couple of times for a few moments. It has times of varying intensity with spikes of pain that I call an electrical storm as the spikes of pain hit in one spot and then will quickly move to another spot - often moving around in a matter of seconds.

I have a host of other symptoms - too numerous to list but I'm hoping all the therapies assist in either eliminating them or at least toning them down.
