I looked up Zantac which is for stomach ulcers, but it helps eliminate heartburn. It is a H2-receptor-blocker.
It's not a PPI as far as I can tell. My doctor knows my condition, and has me taking generic Zantac recently.
I was taking Lansoprazole for my over the counter chronic heartburn for over 5 years. I think that it's a PPI.
I'm not a doctor, so I don't know to much about this. BF
