Today I received a letter from the pet food company's insurance that I have filed the claim with. I have not yet decided what to do with the offer - and I get this letter.

"Please be advised that there has been a recent Federal Court order that prevents us from paying or discussing settlement of any of the pet food recall claims. You continue to forward recall related materials to us and once the order has lifted we will proceed with handling based on the Federal Judges instructions. "

What on earth does this mean? Is there a federal court lawsuit going on that I am not part of or aware of? This letter is vague and does not explain very well. Does anyone know what this could mean or what I should do? Obviously if I call them they won't tell me about the lawsuit, so I am trying to figure it out. Any help is appreciated!
