The last two times I had to show up for Jury Duty, I kind of answered
questions in such a way that I knew I would not be picked. I felt a little
bit bad about stretching the truth in one case and flat out acting almost
crazy in the other case.
But it was such anxiety to get downtown early in the day and follow directions
after I was in the building and I knew that going back the next day was not going to work.
I think dealing with rules and so on are too much for me. AND I really hate lawyers as much as I hate anyone else at the courthouse.
Do not feel that I can trust them. . . .see everyone working in the courthouse as liars.
(Not a good person to be on someone's jury.)
And I always imagine that I will act out and end up getting sent to
jail at any point after my arrival.

They should let someone like you be able to be excused and taken off the list but it is possible that the do it year by year.
My two excuses from pdocs did not specify a date/ time limit.
I suppose that the court in my state expects me to get a letter each time they
send a summons.
