I made the stuffing when I got home, and it was a s*** show, but I got it done, and eventually it came out good. Then I ran the dishwasher and slept for about 1 1/2 hours.

Making the cookies wasn't difficult because I have a stand mixer. Every thing just takes me forever. I ended up with 3 dozen very good chocolate chip cookies

I'm going to peel and cut the potatoes and turnip for our dinner while the stuffing for my family's dinner is in the oven... less to worry about when I get home. I'm not sure if I can get the turkey ready or not yet because I don't know if I can fit the roasting pan in the fridge.

Dinner at my aunt's house is at 1pm. No matter how prepared I am before I go, I doubt I will be able to get a nap in, and I'm not happy about it.

It's going to be another long day.
