In 2011 I had what I imagined was a "bone spur" near my right heal. I made a medical appointment, but at some point noticed numbness in both of my feet.

I don't know if I had that numbness and just then noticed, or if it came about suddenly.

The doctor did some testing and told me that my PN was idiopathic.

Later, the doctor said he had a med to help my PN, he prescribed Gabapentin.

Well, that might have been true if my PN included the stabbing electrical pains

that some suffer from. However, my complaint was numbness, and

(of course) Gabapentin is not going to help that.

I tried pumping up my B-12 levels, which I did achieve. But the PN hasn't

gotten better, and hasn't gotten worse, so I just live with it.
