It may be helpful to have a 3D dental scan to help evaluate that site and the sinus area irrelevant of whether the oral surgeon goes back in to clean it out or not. The course of treatment would depend on the findings of the 3D dental scan.

I would like to know if this is best option and if CT scan would not be advisable before reopening. Are there any alternatives?
