SummerB,

You need to see a dentist for xrays to help determine the health of your teeth as you could have an infected tooth.

The antibiotics may temporarily subside the symptoms and some of the swelling but they will not cure an infected tooth.

I feel a slight pressure in my nose, and after touching my face it's slightly swollen on the right side (Not physically noticeable but I feel the difference between both sides of my face) the ER doctor assumed it was an infection so I was given antibiotics but the swelling is still there, I wasn't able to see a dentist because they were closed. I don't have dental insurance and not sure what to do. What could this be? Is this an emergency??
