When my TN acts up it hurts to smile......or really move anything on my face. Mine goes from right above my right eye down to below the right side of my nose. The slightest touch is excruciating.
Are you taking any medication for it? I take Trileptal (oxcarbazepine) and I will not be without it.
I suppose the only way you'll know for sure what it is, Amie, is if you go to your doctor and let him know what symptoms you're having. Mine is always in the same exact place whenever it flares up.
And yes, tied, it hurts to smile whenever I'm having an "attack".
I know how painful this condition is so I hope you get some answers soon.
