It is absolutely FREEZING in here!!!

We have no hot water, so I had no shower yesterday. This morning I boiled a big pot of water and split it into a big bowl for rinsing and a smaller bowl with a diluted soapy solution to wash the important parts of my body. That worked out well, but I couldn’t avoid the freezing water when I washed my hair.

Last night I made Lipton’s chicken noodle soup, but I really don’t have anything else I can cook on the stove top, and our aim-flame died this morning. I ordered a few things online from Target that are supposed to be available today, but the store may be closed, so IDK if that will work out.

Last night we played cribbage to pass the time. We turned in early because it was so f***ing cold. I put an (extra) big comforter on the bed, so we were warm in bed and at least we slept well.

The rumor is we may not get power back this weekend
