Default This is probably silly...

Hi:

Since you mention the sugar connection and frequent urination,
diabetes jumps to mind--not likely, but is there any family history?

The other thing is something I dealt with for years -- classic UTI
symptoms, after being told by an idiot of a doc that it was in my head,
finally went to the urologist. After tests, turned out that my bladder
was not emptying fully and I am not much of a liquid intake person,
the bladder was getting irritated (not an infection). I find that if I
forget to drink water or liquids, then eat something spicy--definitely
sets the bladder burning. (May have been called trigonitis--my
"remembery" is iffy some days.)

Do you have the discomfort? (Prescription for Pyridium or azo-standard
which is OTC are helpful.) My sister swears by the cranberry pills.

I hope you get it figured out, UTI symptoms are so painful, especially
when it isn't really an infection.

Hugs,
Kat
