Default First NUCCA chiropractor visit thoughts

Hello all, I was curious if anyone here has gone to a NUCCA Chiro for adjustments that have relieved some symptoms? I had my first visit yesterday and the experience was rather odd. In Nov. 2017, I had a syncope event two weeks after spinal fusion of c5-c6 falling and hitting my head. Symptoms came in in the following weeks and while I got cognitive mostly back, and feel better, I still have blurred vision 24/7, tinnitus 24/7 and some dizzy spells with no vertigo.

At the consult appt., she explained the process and I pre-paid $1000 for the first visit with xrays and four additional visits and I stated if I don't see some of the symptoms modulated at least a little bit after 5 visits, I would not continue.

Yesterday I had the xrays and the software package, which is quite interesting, said I had a 2 degree tilt up on the right side of Atlas causing a head tilt to the left. I notice I do tilt to the left. Also noticed I have forward curve on the spine which my primary doc just picked up as well in their xray 2 weeks ago.

So she had my lay on my left side on an adjustable table that can raise or lower just the head. In a certain position she went through about 25 repetitive motions of applying VERY light pressure behind my ear lobe to what she calls Atlas C1 I think. Took another set of xrays and said it was a perfect adjustment. Usual leg lengths checked and standing on a platform that measures hip heights and weight on each foot. I left after that.

My concern is she talking about continuing for many months to get the adjustment to "Hold" if needed which will be very costly. After the adjustment, I haven't seen any changes but also realize everything in my world of recovery has not been fast so accept it may take time.

I really feel the neck is a factor in these symptoms for some reason. Getting out of bed yesterday, I tilted my chin to my chest and received an immediate headache in that position just another tip pointing that way is my thought process.

Just wanted to check in and see if anyone has had any experience good or bad with this kind of Chiropractor treatment?
