Just my two cents, but your PCP should have referred you to a neuro immediately.

I tried the B-12 regimen(this forum's sticky). Can't really say there was any effect. I got
used to my numbness, and was thankful that at least it hadn't gotten worse. However,
in the last few weeks I've noticed that the numbness has traveled up my leg, along the
outside of both my thighs, between my knees and hips.
What should I do- demand a referral to a....what, a neurologist? I've never been
demanding, and am unsure if that wouldn't be counter-productive. But, I'm thinking that
being passive and hoping that the doctor will pursue the matter in good faith....might just
be futile.
Thoughts?
