Don't want to hijack this site and make this all about me but I do.
Yesterday was a very stressful day and I needed to take care of business. Business entailed walking a mile round trip to get to where I needed to be. It was a challenge. NEVER would I have thought that walking that short distance would cause me such fear and struggle. I survived it. The leg weakness is extreme, I need walk with a cane when outside my home. One of my best features has always been my legs. These days they are skinny with little muscle mass. Is this the result of the atrophy associated with PN or perhaps being so immobile? Likely both. I am just wondering if these muscles can be rebuilt and that will help with this horrific crippling weakness. It is this that is robbing me of living a life.

Icehouse, when you begin your therapy again could you maybe ask your therapist? In the meantime I will try to get out daily to walk a block or so.
