Teeth My DBS journey-the Latest

Done in 2016. i am tremor dominant PD with no medical relief. Sinemet only gives me nausea and yes, I have PD. It got to the point that I wanted DBS like yesterday. My good Dr (a noted neurologist at a excellent Parkinson Center university setting) squeezed me in early. Immediate relief when the battery was turned on! But my right hand tremor broke through after 2 days, this became a pattern after each setting. Plus my balance and walking became worse even with classes of Boxing for PD, etc. If anything, Exercise is the best thing forPD. Just push thru it! So discouraged I was going to fly to Colorado for an expert to tweak my settings having lost faith with my local dr. But the last setting with him in March was the best so far. I still have a little tremor but my balance is better. Actually, I feel more normal then in years and even sometimes I forget that I have PD! But when the Dr turns off the battery I am reminded that I do have PD as terrible INNER and outer tremors appear and the INNER tremors candrive you insane.
So in summary:
1. Don't give up. 2. Get DBS if you can before taking heavy dosages of meds.
3. Try to go natural if you can on some of your problemsl like I take calcium, magnesium pills and lotion (for terrible cramps.) For nightmares where I even roll out of bed I don't take pills but just ENJOY them and I put pillows on the floor. I tell my dr that I wont take meds for that as I think those boring dreams are worst. 4. I hate to go to the gym so I work in my yard which is good therapy. I know everybodys pd journey is different but GOOD LUCK!!
