I had and still have other symptoms from my PCS, but this is the worst and most debilitating for me. Has anyone else had symptoms or a situtation like this? Please see my list below:

1)In the beginning, vision looked almost distorted. Looking at black and white text especially was awful. Words looked 3D like on a page. Eye contact was weird. My head hurt all of the time.

Now, the distortion is better, but has been replaced with blurry vision. When I close my right eye, my left eye seems pretty clear. My right eye is blurrier in general. I wear glasses and contacts and have had my eyes checked by 2 neuro-opthalmologists and one low vision specialist optomotrist. They pretty much say my eyes are fine. 20/20. I tried vision therapy and tried using a prism. It just hurt my head and didn't help.

It feels now like my eyes are always trying to focus. My brain feels foggy because of this, and I get lots of headaches. Reading, computer work and going on my phone are much more difficult than before the accident (though have improved since after the accident)

2) I used to always wear contacts, and now my contacts don't feel comfortable. So I wear my glasses which are better, but still not good. I never have found a good reason why my contacts don't work as well as my glasses now.

3) I still have light sensitivity. I turn the contrast down on my phone and computer. I wear sunglasses a lot more when I can. I haven't driven much at all, but being a passenger in the car at night is really bad. My head feels foggy and everything seems blurry. All lights have halos or bright streaks coming out of them.

4) Sometimes it feels like there is a sort of vibration in my vision...better now, but still there. Like if I look at a carpet or patterned floor, or a pile of rocks, there is this vibration in my vision that is hard to describe. I also see it in the white space between black text.

Can anyone relate to any of this? Do eyes take a long time to heal, maybe longer than some of the other symptoms...has anyone experienced this?

Thank you so much in advance.
Number 4 might have something to do with depth perception. It's also like my brain gets confused because of the complexity of objects perceived.

I have the exact same symptoms as you do, almost 7 moths out. And I think a lot of it comes from the fact that I always have astigmatism as well. Before the concussion, it never bothered me.

Do you find your vision problems more problematic when it is overcast, dark outside?
