Your headaches will last as long as they last. Headache meds are commonly used. Aspirin, Tylenol, ibuprofen, etc. I have had headaches that were chronic for 6 to 9 months.
Of course nobody wants headaches to last forever. Focusing on such ideas are counter to reducing stress.
