If she gave you guys the receipt, give it back to her. Tell her it
would kill the bees. And that isn't something you are comfortable
with, or have your husband do it. And that you are happy for
her to return or keep the stuff. And if she needs to she is welcome
to dig the stuff up out of your plant area, since she planted it.
