I am LIZ, a prolific member of the "old" BT forum. I will be 40 in another couple of months, and I was dx'ed with hydro at 3 weeks old. After a rough start with five surgeries by 4 yo, along with a shunt infection and some seizures, I have had only one surgery since--at 13, 26 years ago last week!!!!!!!!! I am happily married (with an anniversary this Friday!), and I have two terrific kids. In all honesty, my son's autism is the toughest thing I deal with. I have an occasional off day, generally with simple partial seizure "clusters" about 4-5 times a year, but I do all the things everyone else does, and I have no serious complaints about my life.
