Default Ceria nanoparticles in a three-pronged attack on PD (basic research out of Korea)

A Three-Pronged Attack On Parkinson’s Disease | Asian Scientist Magazine | Science, technology and medical news updates from Asia

Note this is not addressing alpha-synuclein, but instead looking at various reactive oxygen species (ROS). I found it interesting for its discussion of the use of electrical charging of the surface of the molecule as a way of addressing intra-mitochondrial, extra-mitochondrial but intra-cellular, and extra-cellular ROS.

Net net: Could be a disease-slowing agent ready for human trials in a few years. Alternatively, could spark interest in electrical charging of other molecules in order to get them across the various membranes that currently keep them out (blood brain barrier, cell wall, mitochondria wall, vesicle walls, etc.).

Of no practical use for the next few years, just something to be aware of.
