My pediatrician, told my parents that my body temperature was 96.8 or
something close to that. So when I was running close to 98.6 or 99 I was
running a really good fever, I also was some times really out of it.

So now as an adult, I will tell the doctors and clinics the same. My primaries
have always made a point of putting it in my charts that I run a low
normal. So that if I'm running over 99.00 that they will then treat me
as I'm running a good temperature, like its 101, which is what is considered
a fever.
