I had seen it on TV, too.
Pdocs use a lot of meds to treat acute manic episodes, but I like that this one is FDA approved for that specific purpose. I hope it will be the magic bullet I need.

I couldn't sit still long enough to take a nap yesterday, but I was exhausted, so I smoked a little MJ, and slept for about 2 hrs, and woke up feeling better.

In the evening I started getting a little revved up and unsettled again, and was getting urges to clean the BR, etc. But I was able to mostly control myself by distracting myself with sedentary things and a bunch of little nothings.

On one of those days when I was trying to take a nap, but couldn't lay still in bed, I decided I wasn't happy with how high our cell phone and cable/internet/phone bills were, so I got out of bed and called both companies looking for discounts or promotions. In the end, I ended up cutting our cell phone bill down by $25, and we will be paying over $20 less for our cable package with 4X faster internet.

It's ironic that I'm trying to straighten out our finances right now since I've been really overspending because of the hypo/mania.

Corey has been on an at-home vacation, but he's been a miserable SOB almost the entire time, and I'm f'ing sick of it. Right now I can't wait for him to go back to work. I'm sure he's not exactly enjoying watching/listening to me going through this episode tho, so guess I have to cut him some slack (not that he's exactly been helpful of supportive at all).

We 're supposed to do laundry today. We just have to do it by Sunday, so he will probably want to put it off again. I don't really have a problem with that because he's miserable enough this morning without throwing in a trip to the laundromat. I WILL NOT do it tomorrow tho because I will be busy.

I have another pdoc appointment at 11am tomorrow, then I'm going to pick up my groceries at Stop and Shop/the Pea Pod drive-thru. I bought my produce at a different grocery store yesterday tho because I'm not happy with what I've gotten from them.
