Confused Trouble writing numbers with frontal head pain

Hello, my name is Sherry and I’m new to the forum. I have been searching the web for the entire day, trying to find some information related to symptoms my daughter had been experiencing. She is a very active, healthy 15 year old. She is in the volleyball team, Beta Club, and excels in school. Last year she started making statements about how she sometimes reads things backwards, for instance, if the actual time is 1:51, she will read it as 1:15. I never really gave it much concern as I’ve alwayd done the same thing and well, the brain is a tricky thing sometimes (over stressed, over tired, etc.). Well the past few weeks she has been complaining and almost in tears at times about pains in her frontal lobe when trying to write numbers, particularly the number 3. She physically is not able to write the number 3 anymore and states it is taking a lot of concentration to be able to write any other number. She says she knows what the number means, she can tell you what number she sees visually, but for some reason her arm/hand will not allow her to write the number and she said the pain in her head is approx a 8/10 during this. She denies any visual changes or smells prior to this. She states it does not happen at any other time and she denies any other symptoms or discomfort. She states “it’s making me feel stupid”. It has yet to effect her grade average in algebra as she states she has a friend help her with writing the numbers.
With all of this said, I as her mother, have a history of stroke and seizures and my father has a history of brain tumor and seizures. I’m very concerned for my daughter and these neurological changes she is experiencing. I have her a doctors appointment scheduled in approximately 3 weeks, but was curious if anyone else had had these symptoms or know of anyone. Thanks in advance
