I am thinking of changing my pain management doctor as well as he took me off of one medication that helped me through the night because I was having cognitive difficulties. There are very few specialists. One is Annie Oaklander at MGH, but I could never get an appt to see her, even with a letter from my doctor. Another is Roberto Feliz in Hyde Park. He has YouTubeVideos. I think he is likely a good doc.
I like my docs, but would not recommend them, because I think they know very little. I would like to try ketamine, for instance, but I have repeatedly been told they don’t use that anymore. I know this is not true based on FB posts.
I just read that ketamine cream can help with the cold limb problem, perhaps you could ask your provider for it.
