Default Surgery yes or no

I was sure I wanted ACDF surgery to try and reduce my falls and some other stuff. Since drinking more water I don't fall as much. The surgery would be to reduce falls, push the need for a chair back, I'll still need an appliance but I want to work back to a cane not forward to a chair.

Now my surgeon has a concern that I'll have to go off my blood thinners. We have discussed the hell out of this and he has said we have reached the point where the only solution would be surgery. I'm in no pain. I've got the go ahead from all my other Dr.s Now I'm wondering. (Until I tip over)

Discuss. Please someone answer. I post questions and never get answers.

Thanks
