I have some more about VR and pain relief, but they're out of date links so I'll need to find them again before I post them.
I would think that during a flare up, placing yourself into VR for pain relief, while beneficial for some, would be kind of hard because even during a flare up, whether one day or two weeks, would be too long to keep yourself in VR.

Hope that made sense, little tired, was ill all day.

Great post though, and definitely worth a try, especially if it helps you through the next moment.
