I think it would probably be a good idea to get the cholesterol-lowering injections, but not if you have to self-administer them
into a muscle. It isn't easy...
Your insurance will probably approve them. Ask the doctor if you can apply to have them administered in the office, or have a visiting nurse come do it if you decide you want to have them. It's not out of the ordinary for that to be done.
