Dave,
I have no experience of DBS, but regarding your symptoms, are you sure that your drug regimen is optimal? Perhaps, your doses and frequencies haven't kept pace with the progression of the disease. I suggest that you discuss this with your doctor.
I found group therapy very useful to reduce anxiety.
