Default Over Reacting Nervous System After Surgery

I've been post-op for some years now and recently have been over-reacting in situations.

If the theory is that my nerve is now allowed more space to grow-out and flow, then it makes great sense that I'll have a greater reaction to things. If you think the nerve was compressed and needed more of a push to work than with it's new freedom, it will soar.

I often wish to bolt and run and move and also I cannot hold things in verbally that I did before. For instance, my fuse is shorter and I blurt things out without much filter. [I do believe I stored things in my shoulders and kept them tight].

In general, I believe my surgery and recovering from surgery is the source of this. If so, do I want to try to develop techniques to hold back and focus and refine my reactions.......or is it wise to let things just flow out since maybe it means I am getting better.

Has anyone had any of this!
