I'm glad that the Advil is helping and you are feeling better now... it really did sound like you cracked a rib. If the pain comes back, or you have any problems breathing, please go get an x-ray

That's a good price for all that meat. Will you be freezing any of it? It sounds like you will be cooking up a storm!
I make roux's all the time. I always do it in a separate pan in case I f- up so I can fix it because I never measure anything. They usually turn out fine, but there have been times when I end up having a ton of sauce because I have had to correct it so much, and too much sauce can ruin a dish.
