Default Antimuscarinic Trials

Hi,

Has anyone been involved or have any updated information on the antimuscarinic trials?

(forum won't let me post links, but Google Winsantor.com)

I did communicate with the CEO at one point. Though the use of pirenzipine offers hope for some, there are issues.

The research does not include Idiopathic Polyneuropathies, being aimed primarily at diabetic PN as well as chemo- and HIV- related.

The treatment involves a lotion put on the body acting on adjacent nerves--a potential problem for people like me where the PN is distributed across the body (as well as being unpredictable in sensation); with diabetic neuropathy I suspect the nerve degeneration might be more localized.

The mechanisms for nerve regeneration/protection, if effective for diabetes, are not necessarily viable for Idiopathic PN.

Still, the company is trying hard to help and for that I am grateful, while keeping hope in check. It is eager to help those with Idiopathic PN where possible.
