I've been experimenting with using liquid sinemet. Their are several recipes on the internet. Google liquid sinemet. The recipes for making liquid sinemet use effervescent vitamin C tablets 1000mg. and powdered sinemet. Emergen-C and Aiborne are 2 easy to find brands. I didn't want the extra ingredients that are included, so I purchase vitamin C powder from Vitamin Shoppe. It comes with a1000mg scoop. I crush 6 sinemet tablets in a tea cup using a wooden spoon and add a scoop of vitamin C powder. Using a funnel I pour it into a 20 oz. plastic bottle. Next I add Canada dry club soda. This gives the effervescent effect, which may not be necessary. It's very simple to make and only takes a few minutes. I have found that liquid sinemet takes affect in minutes whereas the tablets can take up to 1 hour to work. Liquid sinemet can be used as a rescue remedy or can be sipped throughout the day. I'm still experimenting on how to best use it.
