I took your advice Bobby, and rather than just calling the vet right away to get the med to rub on Rocky's ear, I ordered the salmon flavored pill pockets to see if he might like them better, and I can get him to take his pill. Of course I had to buy Buddy new "fishy" treats that hopefully won't make him puke, too. I got them from Amazon, one day shipping, so they come today. Thank you for the suggestion

Yesterday was f'ing horrible. I hung in there blow after blow, but finally TOTALLY LOST MY S***. One woman can only take so much. It was just f'ing ridiculous, and I'm not going to get into it because I'm still really anxious about it, and don't want to relive it.

A call from my hematologist/oncologist in the evening ended up saving the day in the end tho. He called to tell me that there were no pathologically significant lymph nodes on the CT scans, so I don't need a biopsy after all!!
I almost s*** my pants when I saw his number pop up on caller ID because usually when a doctor calls the same day as the test, it's bad news, but he said that he doesn't like to make patients worry if he can avoid it. He is such a nice doctor!!! That was the wet read tho, and wouldn't include any problems with my GI tract, because that's not why the test was ordered. My surgeon is going to request the CT images of my abdomen, so she can sort those issues out. All I know is I had liquid D all day, and late into the evening, yesterday.

Because of the spasm in a new part of my lower left leg, I was worried about a potential relapse, and that I would start having problems walking. I could not tell at home because I do not use the cane here, so I take pretty small steps, but while I'm out, I take fairly long strides. But, when I went outside to walk to my car, I could tell my gait is off. I can't really describe it because I was relying so heavily on my right side, and I was forced to take smaller steps. Fortunately, it's not catastrophic or a HUGE difference. But I have MS, and when I'm having problems like this, I worry that I will go to bed and wake up in the morning unable to walk. So, that was also hanging over my head all day
But that was not the case this morning I can tell that my gait is off now tho and I'm having increased neuro pain and profound numbness from the inside of my left leg at the upper-thigh to the knee and the outside of my lower leg traveling to my foot and some toes. Could be worse tho.... could be a lot worse, so I will take it.

Thank God I remembered that I have to renew my drivers license. My birthday is next Thursday. I will have to go do that tomorrow... too anxious to go downtown to the DMV today.

I was able to get 2 things on my to-do list done yesterday, but I was limited in what I could do because I had to shower, nurse the CT contrast, and get to the hospital on time to get the scans done. I WILL get something off my list done today, but I have to go buy my husband cigarettes... the A/H left his empty carton on the counter, which is his way of letting me know he's run out.
