Hi DoxieRox

Welcome to NeuroTalk .

Low levels of Vitamin D can exacerbate diabetic peripheral neuropathy but I do not know if high levels of it have been linked to PN arising from any cause(s).

Paresthesia is a generic "pins and needles" sensation which can be transient or chronic and has many possible causes.

You might find it helpful to use the Search command (https://www.neurotalk.org/search.php) to find threads here where these or other topics have been discussed.

The PN forum here is very active so if you introduce yourself there other members will be able to offer you support and helpful suggestions.

All the best.
