Caroline, I agree with you that we have much to learn about biomedical science.

That is why I posted the results of the PubMed search showing that there is currently no evidence that HGH is of any use in management of Alzheimer's Disease and the WebMD link explaining what is known about HGH.

More generally, I think that it is important that NT members remember that Dr Google has neither a scientific nor a medical background; it is part of the advertising business.

Because of that, while there are evidence-based sites on the Web, there are also sites which advocate or sell allegedly therapeutic products or procedures in the absence of any evidence.

Evaluating which are which is not always an easy task.
