Default Needing help- possible TOS

I’m a 39 year old male, 5’11, 160 lbs and live a healthy lifestyle. I’m right handed

This dull achy pain below my left clavicle started around 3 years ago. I woke up in middle of the night thinking I was having a heart attack.


It mimics chest pains. I have good days and bad but there is never a day where the pain is completely gone. At the time I went to urgent care and they did tests and said everything was fine. I’ve been to two different doctors and both said it’s Costocondritis.

I’ve since gone to a Nuero, Rheumatologist, and sports specialist and they don’t have answers. I’m going to see dr Pearl in Dallas next month

The pain I feel is below left clavicle towards the rotator cuff but radiates down both arms. Its a dull aching feeling like something heavy is constantly sitting on me. Affects typing and working on laptop. I can also feel it ache in left shoulder blade. My grip is very weak and I am unable to write for long periods of time. I just feel like rubbing my hands and forearms all the time because they ache so much. It also is hard to sit still due to all the aches and pains. I’m very irritable and have to urinate frequently.

I did a nerve test and tested positive for CT syndrome


I work out 6 days a week. Running and lifting weights and feel great during and after exercise.

I’ve done the following to try to alleviate the pain, however it doesn’t seem to be helping. I actually think it’s gotten worse in the past few months

- [ ] Ive changed sleeping position from my stomach to now my back and side
- [ ] Used a product called the back pod
- [ ] Worn a back brace for posture
- [ ] Saw a Chiropractor 3x a week for 6 weeks

Stress, anxiety, hunger, and chewing gum all seem to make it worse

It doesn’t affect performance at gym. My typical day it feels ok in the morning, I work out, and then around lunch into the afternoon is when it’s at it’s worse. Usually calms down after dinner after I eat and usually take a few ibuprofen. I’ve taken days and weeks off from gym and pain is still there.


I don’t know what to do. My quality of life sucks and I don’t sleep well

I’m wondering if this is TOS or tight pec minor syndrome? Any help is appreciated
