Default Hi, I'm New Here

Hello everyone. Thank you for being here!

I'm a 67 year old wife and grandma living in the western US.

I've been disabled with moderate-severe ME/CFS for 33 years. The neuro problems (vibrating, buzzing sensations in feet and legs) started the very first day I was slammed with the Epstein-Barr Virus. I never recovered from the bone-crushing fatigue and multiple other symptoms.

After complaining to literally dozens of doctors and specialists over the years, my neurologist FINALLY did nerve conduction and EMG studies and confirmed severe axonal polyneuropathy (Idiopathic). I'm now using a cane and having to check my feet everyday for injuries.

In addition to ME/CFS and PN I also have Hashimoto's thyroiditis, chronic tinnitus, vertigo, Sicca, Pulmonary Hypertension (mild), Mixed Sleep Apnea, positional orthostatic intolerance, arrhythmia and sinus tachycardia, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, - generalized and panic anxiety disorder, and I've probably forgotten some things. LOL!

Aside from all that, I'm quite content and happy My faith is what has kept me going all these years "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me." 2 Cor.12:9
