I've been wanting to update on my experiences w/ Photonic Stimulation -treatmts from Dr. Haber
(ongoing connection problems haven't allowed longer posts but trying again-

I contacted Dr. Haber @ www.ampmcenter.com
got into research program using her patent Photonic Stimulator for RSD.

1st appt. Dr. Haber began w/ Hx and review McGill Pain Questionnaire.
I had to pick THE ONE area causing most problems in my life--difficult but I chose my knee, which was fractured in accident, didn't heal well and has been a source of severe pain for 12 yrs.

Next, FILM is made--of patient, Hx, etc.that Dr. H shares w/ researchers, DRs, & other med pro's. My name not used, but an assigned case #.

Dr. Connie asked if anything I wanted to add... I put out a Plea for Help all who are suffering w/ chronic intractable Pain, w/ needed research, funding, etc. to find & make available viable treatmt options.
Also, (more to DRS) -Validation- of patient and symptoms presented; we know REAL but may suffer more when Not believed, dismissed, in addition to not getting or having access to treatmts that may help or offer relief.

after film, THermography is done- whole body. Interesting to see "imbalances" via colors.

then Photonic stimulator--non-invasive -held few inches away from my knee.
I could see Light, colors changing ; also on screen I could see Thermograph images of my feet (filmed during treatmt, which Dr. H uses as "one" guide)
she stopped when looked more "balanced"

this treatmt took about 1/2 hour. I was amazed that I had immediate relief in my knee!!! (other body areas still hurt but Wow...that problem area was so improved )

DR. Connie wanted 3 treatmt w/in week; so I returned next day. Treatmt same w/ similar results . some pain had returned to knee but was relieved. She asked about changes --I slept better that nite due to less pain . per her "diagnostics"--thermography, etc, I was responding, doing well....

3rd appt--2 days later-- I'd gone into a major pain flare nite before; body wide w/ neuro stuff--burning, spasms, etc. Treatmt repeated but didn't get that immediate relief I'd gotten w/ prior treatmts. Actually, had a rather "bad" week.

I was scheduled to go back next week & almost cancelled but didn't. Bodywide pain had continued w/ other neuro stuff. Not sleeping due to pain.
Pain had "moved" to other knee-- that felt like a spike being hammered, which I'd felt in L knee for years. Dr. H didn't seem surprised when I relayed this--she focused Photonic Stimulator on R knee--- almost immediate pain relief there!!

Other issues were discussed including orthontics. Dr H explained & showed how my body was "off" , how custom inserts could help.I will have to pay for these but am going to try.

I will be going back to Dr. Haber tomorrow.

Dr. Haber states Photonic Stimulator is not for everyone nor all disorders. but her success rate esp. w/RSD is impressive.

I've heard stories of other patients that don't return; some come back few times year; others have quit or reduced meds. Dr. Connie has helped many w/ various painful conditions.

I know this therapy is not a "cure all" ; I don't know how much it will help me, or how enduring the affects can be. But for now I glad to get & have ANY relief.
