Chat Anyone tried perineural injection therapy?

I'm wondering if anyone has tried perineural injection therapy (PIT) for widespread nerve pain? It involves many injections (often hundreds) of lidocaine and dextrose to hydroseparate the nerve from pinch points. Sometimes it involves platelet rich plasma (PRP)

I've done 2 rounds so far for CRPS in my back and arms. There is a window of at least 8 weeks between sessions (per this doctor's protocol). I'll be honest - the pain is excruciating. I'm 6.5 weeks post 2nd treatment and am worse off than I started, BUT there's a possibility that my pain is increased because the nerves have been freed from the entrapment and are healing.

If ANYONE has any experience with this - I'd love to hear about it. Especially success stories because I have to decide if I continue. I have another procedure scheduled for mid-December and don't know if I can handle MORE pain.
