OP: My only advice would be to work with Myrrh Tincture in that area and see if it will heal the area more. Do some research on Myrrh and you will find a lot of good info. I live with a molar that I could have had extracted and a lot of work done about 10 yrs ago and when it flairs a bit I hit the area with my Myrrh and it's gone ....
I do so much of my own dental care NOW and at 81 do not visit the dentist, now about 10 yrs. I love grape seed extract too for gum health. I've posted quite a bit in the Dental area here.
Do yourself good too, keep sugars/.carbs DOWN in your body...
