Hello,
I am looking for information regarding how to alleviate pain in my right upper arm that I believe is caused by RSI (tendonitis?). Thre is so much information about RSI, but I would like to understand specifically what exercises I should avoid and what changes to my working environment will help. For example I'm not sure that what would relieve pain in the wrist or hand (e.g. ergonomically designed keyboard or a vertical mouse) will help relieve pain in the upper arm?
I think it's RSI because when I stop using my laptop and specifically my right hand (I'm getting good at using the track pad with my left hand

) the pain subsides.
It's worse at night and really aches when I wake up. (I sleep on the other side)
I'm asking here becasue I'm hoping there will be someone with similar symptoms.
Thanks for reading
Kate
