Red face

The past 2 weeks have been awful.
We had to put hattie down and buried her in the back yard.
We lost Marysue, my mother in law quite suddenly when we thought she was better and jeff had flown home/ back here....only to return to his mothers home for the calling and burial. Before that He had spent 5 days there, so glad for that. The reason she was hospitalized was because her stomach did a 180 degree flip. She had surgery to sew the stomach in place. The trauma to her from surgery triggered the MG crisis and she quickly got put on a ventilator with irradic heat rate, she was a full code at that point. When she recovered they asked her if she would want to have the tube down her throat if she needed it again.... She said no. She had Myasthiniuos gravus. The antibodies were attacking her nervous/muscular system.
So they did a plasma exchange kind of like dialysis and filtered out the antibodies. The second of 5 treatments worked and that is what got her off the ventilator and out of ICU....When she did not want the ventilator again made her a no code and when the antibodies attacked her poor heart gave way and the emergency team came and made her comfortable. There were nurses there and a doctor and not in any pain, and died with dignity at 1:05am 3-5-20.
Unfortunately neither of the 2 boys were there, telephones were being charged....etc.
We flew in on Saturday and picked out her clothes on sunday, Went shopping for a new red sweater, with black trim and found one easily. Went thru her jewelry and found a nice set of pearls and a watch that I made for her...red and black beads that matched her sweater. She had catalog ordered new blouse, bra, undies, pants...like she knew she was sick. They were still in their bags or had tags on them.

Monday, The calling was nice 5-7pm, it was a closed casket except for immediate family for one hour before hand. Thankfully my sister was there to help support me.
The burial was the next day, there were 6 of us present. We were pallbearers. Since there was not a memorial service or funeral Both Brian and Jeff had things they wanted to say. Brian s eulogy was 10 minutes long but really nice and jeffs was nice as well.
Marysues husband larry had a daughter. so their step sibling she was there as well...We went out for an early dinner at their favorite steak house murpheys and all had the steak special. It was delicious.

My bipolar has been out of whack for some time....We made a quick trip to the er on wednesday and was not admitted, though they asked me if I wanted to stay and I said no.
We flew home on thursday. We have been in close contact with Brian who is the executer of the estate.
Fortunately he is unemployed at the time and can take care of things as they arrise.
He is taking her cat Max and has moved him into his new home. Brian bought a house just blocks away from marysue, around the beginning of the new year right before he was layed off. He is a medical coder. Now that she is gone, he doesn't know what he will do. I asked him if he wanted to move to louisiana....he said he wasn't making any decisions just yet.
He was Very close to his mom.
Unfortunately the house has some racoons living in the attic. the exterminator was called in. There is strong urine staining on the living room ceiling.

It has been crazy with my business, making a ton of calls reschedulling and creating waiting lists. The corona virus may try to shut down my business, I shan't go with out a fight!

sigh
I should sign off.
