A decade later the U.S. launched twenty-eight satellites into the Van Allen belts as part of the Initial Defense Communication Satellite Program (IDCSP), ushering in the “Hong Kong” flu pandemic, which began in July 1968.

This is the year I was hit with the Asian flu, no one else in my family of 5, only me. And I was so so sick but I recovered obviously.
