That's basically right, especially because you already have significant symptoms, and especially since the fluid flow is being interfered with. Persistent CSF obstruction causes compression of the brainstem and spinal cord and can result in inability to breathe, severe apnea, coma, and ultimately, death. This

) Since you already have fluid obstruction, your brainstem is being compressed, inhibiting its ability to do its job, which is controlling heartbeat and breathing, among others.
