My mother is in severe pain and is taking narcotics and she is afraid she will get addicted to them. She sees her reg PCP this week. The er sent her home on pain meds no diagnosis. the pain is right on her rib cage below her breast on the right side. She wakes up in severe pain, The pain meds wear off over night sleeping in one position then when she wakes up and moves that is when the pain starts....
Last tuesday I had a brain MRI because of my memory issues. When I saw the neurologist she diagnosed me with mild neurocognitive disorder.
I will have a spinal tap done on this monday.
I hope it doesn't hurt too much.
